Privacy & Terms

• Your name — the display name tied to your invite code so the crew knows who's coming.
• Date of birth — saved privately so we can unlock 21+ events on the day you turn 21. It's never shown to other users or hosts, and we don't use it for anything else.
• Phone number — only if you opt in to SMS reminders. Used for 24-hour and 1-hour event reminders plus invite-code delivery if you requested one.
• RSVPs — which events you're going to or skipping.
• Comments — anything you post in an event hype thread.
• Code requests — if you asked for an invite, we keep your name and phone number so the admin can review and text you back.

We use this info to show you the right events, let you RSVP, send reminders you asked for, and help admins run the crew. We do not sell data, show ads, or share info with outside marketers.

• Other signed-in members can see your display name and whether you're going to an event.
• Comments you post are visible to other members who can see that event.
• Your date of birth and phone number are never shown to other users.
• Admins can see the basics needed to manage invites, events, and reminders.

• Invite-only access — you need a valid invite code to sign in.
• Role-based admin checks — admin rights come from a separate role table, not from a name or guessable setting.
• Database-level security — Row Level Security limits what each user can read and change.
• No third-party ads or trackers — we don't load ad scripts or analytics cookies.

• Update your display name anytime from your profile.
• Stop SMS reminders by removing your phone number from your profile (if that option is available) or asking the admin.
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing or texting the admin. We'll remove your profile, RSVPs, and comments.

We may update this page as features change. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show the latest version. Continued use of Next Hang means you accept the current terms.

• Invite codes are for you only — don't share or transfer them.
• Admins can revoke access if needed.
• 21+ events require a true 21+ status. Don't misrepresent it.
• Keep comments respectful — admins can remove anything off.
